"Gypsy" is a 9 year old QH cross. Stands around 15.1 hands. She will WTC under-saddle but would be better for an intermediate or experienced rider as she will test you and will throw an occasional buck. Gypsy has been started on barrels and can slow canter the pattern pretty well. She can jump well and consistently under-saddle at 2' with the potential to go much higher. She can clear 4' from a standstill in the pasture. She is a fairly easy keeper but if she doesn't think you are giving her enough food she can be a houdini. Will stand tied well and is good for vet and farrier. She currently has a bar shoe on her left hind due to a pasture accident where she took a chunk out of her hoof. However she is usually barefoot and stays sound year round. She tends to be higher up in the pecking order but gets along with both mares and geldings. I do have videos of her under-saddle as well.
Gypsy was a rescue who has come a long way. When we first got her, she and her 2 year old filly were living in a 20'x20' pen in 3ft of mud with only each other's manes for food. She was broke badly and would buck if you even suggested cantering. She also had horrible ground manners and could be downright mean. After a long time of working through her issues and getting her to accept riders and people she has become a very nice horse.
